Dal vada


My mom used to make this when we were young on a rainy day and I did not realise then that it was so simple. It makes huge portions even with small amount of ingredients.
Ingredients:
split moong dal-1 cup soaked for 4 hrs atleast
greenchilli-3
garlic clove-2
salt
sada bicarb-a pinch
Method:
1. Coarsely grind first four ingredients.
2. add soda bicarb,mix.
3. Take small portions and deep fry in oil
4. Serve it with sliced onions sprinkled with salt
