Pizza-homemade
Getting a frozen pizza and cooking it would be easier but if your kids are enthusiastic like mine and would like to get involved then this is perfect. Ever since I concocted it, my kids have been making atleast 2-3 times in a week.
Ingredients:
pizza base- from my "NAN" recipehttp://easyfavourites.blogspot.com/2012/02/nanpizza-base-no-yeast.html
Red Pesto-1-2 tsp
Oregano-optional
cheese- cheddar/mozarella,or anything you have
Toppings- onion,tomato,pepper,hotdog sausage-sliced (my son's favourite)
Method:
0. Preheat the oven at190 C
1. Get your kids to grate the cheese and slice the toppings.
2. Roll out the dough like a chappathi.Transfer it to pizza pan.
3. Spread the pesto, add the toppings,sprinkle oregano and top it with cheese
4. Oven cook for 12 min. Tip: while its cooking, make another one coz they are bound to ask for one more!
