Orange -dates microwave cake

I had 7 oranges in my fruit bowl which looked very sad and inedible. Since I hate wasting food but at the same time do not want to spend time and energy on something which is not worth it ,I bumped into this recipe. Total cooking time was 5-6 min which caught my most attention. I personally use microwave  for heating food most of the time and never thought would use it to make a cake so I was not hoping it to turn out great but it did surprise me.
Ingredients:
1 cup - orange juice
1 cup - pitted dates
2 tbsp - refined oil
1/2 cup - jaggery / brown sugar / sugar
1 tbsp - grated orange peel
1 tsp - vanilla essence
pinch of salt
2 tbsp - chopped almonds or cashewnuts
1 cup - self raising flour

Method:
1. Soak the dates in a cup of warm orange juice for about 30 min...
2 .In a mixie , add all ingredients upto salt and make a fine paste.
3. Add the self raising flour and mix. If the mixture is too thick then can add a few tsp of milk.
4. Pour it in a greased microwave safe bowl. Top it with nuts of your choice.
5. Micro wave it for 5-6 min. and serve it warm with icecream.
