I made this amazing simple accompaniment today for supper. It has the sweetness from the carrot ,crunch from the capsicum/sweet pepper and the seasoning gives it an indian flavour.
Ingredients:
Grated carrot-1 cup
Capsicum/sweet pepper- 1, chopped into small pieces
greenchillis-2 ,chopped
Tadka- little oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, curry leaves(optional)
Salt
Method:
1.In a wok, take little oil,add mustard seeds, when they splutter add asafoetida/hing, green chillis and curry leaves.
2. Immediately add the grated carrots, sweet pepper and salt. Mix for 30 sec and turn off the heat.

hi...i did visit your blog and actally going to try ghee roast. I have dosa batter...will add rava and turdal powder to get crispy, since my daughter likes it really crispy. Thanks for visiting my blog and the kind words.
